I'm Rich Payne, a CIMA qualified accountant who moved into data. Most recently I was Group Head of Insight at the UK's largest independent plant dealer, where I built the data and insight function from scratch and led it for over six years, reporting to the Group FD.
Before that I was a BI analyst, finance manager and quantity surveyor in building maintenance and housebuilding, so I understand both the numbers and the work on site.
I work to the principle of transforming data as far upstream as possible, and as far downstream as required.
